5: Visit of the Villandry Castle and its famous
Renaissance gardens – the Medieval castle of Langeais
– the elegant Azay le Rideau Chateau built
on an island in the middle of the Indre River – the Ussé
Castle or Sleeping Beauty’s chateau, said to have inspired
Charles Perrault’s writing of the famous fairytale.

6 : Tour of the Medieval city of Chinon dominated
by a fortress. You will discover Candes St Martin,
a superb village along Loire River and Montsoreau
Castle before reaching the Fontevraud Abbey, which
was one of the vastest monastical ensembles of the Christian world.

7 : Visit Saumur Castle which overlooks the
Loire River. Follow the Loire banks to discover the Romanesque church
of Cunault and admire some great landscapes along
